A presentation object conceived as a piece in its own right

Born from six months of research, studies and experimentation, this creation was produced in 15 editions to accompany the dishes of the team led by Davy Tissot, winner of the Bocuse d’Or 2021. At the intersection of fine craftsmanship and haute cuisine, it expresses another way of designing an object that is durable, functional and singular.

Material becomes a language of precision

The project brings together several complementary fields of expertise, including 3D printing using starch based filaments, plant based paint and straw marquetry crafted in the atelier. The exterior is clad in black straw arranged in a pattern of random chevrons imagined by Paelis, while the lid, base and inner trays are highlighted with golden straw applied in fine lines. With this registered design, Paelis creates a piece designed to serve, elevate and endure.

This box is now part of the permanent collection of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
