A historic piece reinterpreted through the spirit of travel
Created in 1929 by Vuitton for conductor Leopold Stokowski, this trunk was designed to meet all the needs of a travelling worker. Numerous drawers, storage spaces for books and papers, and a compartment originally intended to hold a typewriter formed a piece conceived to support work while travelling.
Straw marquetry extends the identity of the house
The atelier was entrusted with cladding the interior of the secretary in straw marquetry, using a pattern based on the House’s LV initials.
