A tray where gastronomy meets the exacting nature of material
Conceived in close harmony between gastronomy, presentation and craftsmanship, this tray brings together several fields of excellence. The design was imagined by Xavier Salerio, then developed in collaboration with Bernard Frizza, art bronzesmith and Meilleur Ouvrier de France, Maxime Lacroix in fine woodworking and cabinetmaking, and Marion Chatel Chaix, culinary designer.
A creation shaped with precision down to the smallest detail
Beyond the straw marquetry, Paelis also produced several specific elements requested for this project, including plaster eggs and pieces made from real eggshells. Through this creation, the atelier affirms an approach in which fine craftsmanship supports haute cuisine with precision, exacting standards and a strong sense of detail. The tray received the Best Tray Prize during the final stage of the European competition.
